School shows have become an annual event at The Gordon Schools with a number of staff from various departments working together with pupils both on and off stage to create something spectacular.

There are many ways for pupils to be involved in the school show including:
– auditioning for a role
– playing in the band
– making set pieces and scenery
– making costumes
– assisting backstage
– assisting front of house
– making posters and other advertising materials
– sourcing or making props
The best way to get involved is to sign up for one of the Wider Achievement School Show course options. The school show is usually announced before the summer, in the Autumn term look out for posters or notices asking for help backstage or with other elements of the show as preparations gather momentum.
The school show usually takes place in December and we welcome all pupils, staff, parents, friends, family and members of the local community and beyond to join us. All proceeds from the school show go back into school funds.
