TGS PROMOTING POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR

Good behaviour is essential if The Gordon Schools is to meet its aims. It is central to our ability to go about daily business in a manner that recognises that the school is a community based on trust, involving the mutual respect of pupils, staff and parents. Our behaviour policy has just been updated and along with the policy HERE you can also view the Powerpoint presentation which was shared with our pupils/staff.

EDUCATION SCOTLAND

The purpose and aims of the inspection process in evaluating the quality of learning and teaching in Scottish schools and education services. Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education (HMIe) was an executive agency of the Scottish Government, responsible for the inspection of public and independent, primary and secondary schools, as well as other types of educational establishment.

HMIE and Learning and Teaching Scotland (former non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government) were merged in 2011 to create Education Scotland who now perform formal inspections of educational establishments on a regular basis.
