Note that if you already have a Higher Biology qualification, Higher Human Biology does not count as a second Higher for entry into Higher Education. Pupils can progress to Advanced Higher Biology from either. In some cases, pupils can select any subject at Higher level where they have already shown a high level of aptitude in one or more of the other subjects on offer or have a proven record of high attainment. |
